Last Updated: 01-Jan-2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to TAXITIME SWEDEN, a premier taxi service provider in Sweden. These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our taxi booking services provided through our website, mobile application, and call center (collectively, “Platforms”). These Terms establish the conditions under which TAXITIME SWEDEN offers its services to customers who wish to book a taxi ride.

By using our Platforms to book a taxi ride, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you are not permitted to access or use the Services. TAXITIME SWEDEN may amend these Terms from time to time, and any updates will be effective upon posting. Continued use of our services after updates signifies your acceptance of the amended Terms.

2. Scope of Services

TAXITIME SWEDEN operates as a taxi booking platform that allows users to request rides from licensed and authorized taxi drivers. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we do not provide transportation services directly but facilitate the booking of rides with third-party independent drivers and taxi companies (“Service Providers”).

When a user books a ride, they enter into a direct contract with the Service Provider responsible for the taxi ride. TAXITIME SWEDEN acts as an intermediary between the user and the Service Provider by transmitting booking details and confirmation of the trip. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • TAXITIME SWEDEN is not responsible for the performance of the taxi ride; all transportation services are provided by independent third parties.

  • The availability of taxis is subject to location, time, demand, and traffic conditions.

  • Information displayed on our Platforms, such as estimated arrival times and fare calculations, is based on data from Service Providers and may be subject to change.

3. Booking Requests

When you request a ride through our Platforms, our system processes your booking request and attempts to match it with an available taxi near your location.

Booking Confirmation

  • Once a Service Provider confirms the ride, you will receive an automatic confirmation notification.

  • You must review the booking confirmation details carefully and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.

  • The estimated arrival time of your taxi depends on several factors, including driver availability, real-time traffic conditions, and external disruptions such as weather or roadwork.

User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for ensuring your contact information is accurate and reachable at the time of booking.

  • If you are not at the designated pickup location at the agreed time, the driver may cancel the trip, and cancellation fees may apply.

  • TAXITIME SWEDEN is not liable for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Free Cancellation: You may cancel your booking before a driver has been dispatched without incurring any fees.

  • Late Cancellation: If a driver has already been assigned to your trip and is en route to your location, a cancellation fee may be applied.

  • No-show Fees: If you fail to show up at the designated pickup location without canceling the ride, you may be charged a no-show fee equivalent to the base fare of the ride.
